About the founder 

Priyesh Jain is the founder of Secret Temples. The concept of starting this startup is to create a connecting link between the youth and the long-forgotten traditional history of the world. His ultimate goal is to create a place where you can find answers to almost all the questions related to historic and mysterious temples. 

He started Secret Temples on 1st of July 2020. He is  originally a resident of Kun village in Rajasthan. When he was in his village during the lock-down last year, he visited a place called Balicha. Near that place there was a 1000 years old Jain temple, also known as Balicha Jain temple. After visiting the temple, he found that an ancient and wonderful temple presenting Indian culture is in dilapidated condition today due to lack of proper maintenance and also because people do not know about this temple. So he thought that, in the absence of information, a priceless heritage should not be lost like this, and not only this, there must be many more such valuable, incomparable heritage which people (especially the youth) are deprived of today and will be deprived even further.

While searching for a solution to this problem, he got the inspiration that why not make these implicit, invisible cultures accessible to every youth with “Secret Temples”. When he started this startup he realized this is where his heart belongs, in the midst of secrets of temples.

Coming along with cultures and secrets of our temples we have been through an amazing exploration journey with Secret Temples, where from providing youth a message to preserve our heritage to acknowledging the world about the hidden amusements, the startup has made our history enliven; for us and for generations to come.

उदयपुर स्थित इंदिरा आईवीएफ के हेड ऑफिस पर सेंट्रल जीएसटी (CGST) की टीम ने छापा मारा है। उदयपुर पहुंची टीम कर चोरी को लेकर जांच कर रही है। संभावनाएं यह जताई जा रही है की इंदिरा आईवीएफ की बड़ी कर चोरी का खुलासा हो सकता है।

सेंट्रल जीएसटी की दिल्ली से आई टीम व राजस्थान की टीम संयुक्त कार्यवाही कर रही हैं। इस संयुक्त टीम ने इंदिरा आईवीएफ के कुम्हारों का भट्‌टा स्थित सेंटर पर छापा मारा है और कार्यालय से महत्वपूर्ण दस्तावेज़ भी हासिल किए हैं। उन दस्तावेज़ों की अभी जांच जारी है।

47 District Collectors of Udaipur in the last 74 Years

Did you know, in these 74 years, there has been only one female District Collector of Udaipur till date?

In India, the post of District Collector was created by Warren Hastings in the year 1772. Since then the role has been an essential part of Indian administration. But did you know, that a total of 47 collectors have served the city of lakes since 1948? Before diving into another glorious history of this majestic city, let us know about the role of a District Collector (DC).

A District Collector (DC) is the principal representative of the administration, functions in close cooperation with the superintendent of police to maintain law and order in the district and serves as the principal revenue officer.

In 1948, when Rajasthan was still Rajputana, Shri Moinuddin became the first District Collector of Udaipur. Rajasthan was formally instituted as a state on 30 March 1949 after the British state of Rajputana was merged into the Dominion of India. Since after Shri Moinuddin, there have been a total of 47 collectors of Udaipur who have served the city at their administrative best.

Well, among all, Dr. VS Singh has served for the shortest period as an administrative head of Udaipur. He took charge on 18 October 1989 and served for 72 days. And on the contrary, RR Jain served for the longest tenure of 1,173 days. He started his tenure in the collectorate on 21 October 1967 and served till 6 January 1971.

Udaipur has been served by 2 Collectors in one calendar year thrice in the last 74 years. Mohanlal Agarwal and BN Tankha took charge as Collectors of Udaipur in 1949; Rama Kant Vyas and Ratan Singhi took office as Collectors of Udaipur in 1990; Kuldeep Ranka and Anand Kumar took charge as Collectors in 2008.

Among the last 25 Collectors of Udaipur, seven administrative heads of Udaipur, viz. Kuldeep Ranka, JP Singh, Vipin Sharma, Dr. Ashok Singhvi, Vinod Kapoor, Chetan Deora and Tara Chand Meena have been from the Rajasthan cadre. All of them have held the dual role of Collector and District Magistrate.

In the last 74 years, Udaipur has seen only one female District Collector and that is Ms Anandi, who became Collector and District Magistrate of Udaipur on 25 December 2018 and was in-charge till 4 July 2020.

निगम का करोड़ो का बजट: क्या अब बदलेगी उदयपुर की दशा?

अगर उदयपुर का नाम दिमाग में आते ही सौंदर्य से पहले टूटी सड़कें आती है तो हां उदयपुरवासी हो तुम !

सालों से “अंडर कंस्ट्रक्शन” चल रहे उदयपुर को शायद अब राहत मिल सकती है। नगर निगम बोर्ड बजट की बैठक तीसरी बार हुई। बैठक में पक्ष और विपक्ष दोनों ने एक ही सुर में शहर के विकास के लिए बोर्ड के सामने कई मुद्दे उठाए। इसी बीच निगम द्वारा 2022-23 सत्र के विकास कार्यों के लिए 298.03 करोड़ का बजट पास किया गया।

जिस तरह की हालत है हमारे शहर की सड़कों की उस पर निगम को शायद इस बार तरस आ गया। इसीलिए इस बार सड़को के सुधार के लिए तीन गुना ज़्यादा राशि रखी गई है। इसके अलावा ई-वाहनों को प्रोत्साहित करने के लिए अनुदान देने का भी प्रस्ताव रखा गया। जहाँ देहलीगेट फ्लाईओवर के निर्णय पर एलिवेटेड रोड की चर्चा हुई वहीँ विधायक फण्ड से ज़िपलाइन डालने के लिए राशि की स्वीकृति भी मिली है।

आइए विस्तार से जाने की कितनी है समस्याएं और किन पर होगा काम।

समस्याएं

  • सभी वार्डों में सड़के टूटी-फूटी है और अधिकांश जगह पेयजल की समस्या है।
  • कई वार्ड यूआईटी सिमा क्षेत्र में है तो कुछ निगम के क्षेत्र में और दोनों के क्षेत्र में होने से कई जगहों पर विकास कार्य नहीं हो रहा, हालत जैसी की तैसी ही है।
  • कचरे के कंटेनर हटने से सड़क पर कचरा पड़ा रहता है।
  • स्मार्ट सिटी के कार्यों में गति ना होने और कार्यों में मॉनिटरिंग ना होने से अंदरुनी शहर में परेशानियां सिर्फ बढ़ ही रही हैं।
  • हिरणमगरी स्मार्ट रोड में भी कई ख़ामियाँ है।
  • कई इलाकों में सामुदायिक भवनों को सुधरने की अत्यंत आवश्यकता है।
  • जगह-जगह अतिक्रमण है ।
  • बोहरा गणेशजी जैसी कई जगहों पर चौड़ी सड़क की आवश्यकता है।
  • औद्योगिक क्षेत्रों में सिटी बसें नहीं चल रही।
  • कई क्षेत्रों में वनवे से परेशान है आम लोग।
  • कच्ची बस्तियों और गरीब जनता की पट्टे की दिक्कत।
  • लगभग हर वार्ड में सफाई कर्मी गायब रहते है और कचरा संग्रहण की व्यवस्था भी ठीक नहीं है।

यह तो कुछ गिनी-चुनी समस्याएं हैं जो की पार्षदों द्वारा गिनवाई गई है। ना जाने कब से आम जनता इन परिस्थितयों से शतिग्रस्त है। इसी को देखते हुए इतने बड़े बजट की स्वीकृति मिली है। अब देखते है की इसके तहत किन-किन समस्याओं का समाधान होता है।

समाधान कुछ इस प्रकार होंगे:

  • सड़कों के लिए 46 करोड़: शहर की क्षतिग्रस्त सड़कों की मरम्मत के लिए निगम ने इस बार 46 करोड़ बजट का प्रावधान रखा है। इसमें महापौर द्वारा आश्वासन दिया गया है की सभी वार्डों में जल्द ही सड़कों की हालत सुधरेगी जिसमे से अधिकांश के टेंडर हो चुके है।
  • दूधतलाई पर ज़िपलाइन व पार्किंग: दूधतलाई पर ज़िपलाइन बनाने की स्वीकृति मिल चुकी है और साथ ही उसके पीछे ज़मीन को साफ़ कर वहां पार्किंग स्थल बनाने का भी सुझाव दिया गया है।
  • ई-वाहनों पर अनुदान: शहर में ई-वाहनों को बढ़ावा देने के लिए नगर निगम दुपहिया वाहन ख़रीद पर दो हज़ार व ई-रिक्शा खरीदने पर 4 हज़ार रुपये का भुगतान करेगा। इसके लिए बजट में 50 लाख रुपये का अलग से प्रावधान रखा गया है।
  • देहलीगेट फ्लाईओवर की जगह एलिवेटेड रोड का प्रस्ताव: पहले देहलीगेट पर फ्लाईओवर बनने का प्रस्ताव सामने आ रहा था लेकिन बोर्ड की बैठक में उदियापोल से कलेक्टर के बंगले तक एक एलिवेटेड रोड का प्रस्ताव रखा गया है। निगम को इसके लिए कोर्ट से अनुमति लेनी होगी और मज़बूती से अपना पक्ष भी रखना होगा।
  • जनसहभागिता योजना आरम्भ: आमजन व वार्ड की आवश्यकताओं की पूर्ति के लिए निगम ने पहली बार जनसहभागिता योजना प्रारम्भ की है। इसके तहत किसी संस्था द्वारा जनहित में कार्य विशेष के लिए 30 प्रतिशत अंशदान देने व 70 प्रतिशत व्यय निगम की ओर से करवाया जाएगा।
  • पार्षद करवा सकेंगे 2 लाख तक के काम: पार्षद अपने वार्डों में दो लाख रुपये तक विधायक फण्ड से काम करवा सकेंगे। इसके लिए नियमों के तहत जो काम आएँगे उसी के लिए ही स्वीकृति दी जाएगी।

अब आने वाले 2022-23 सत्र में इन सभी सुधार और विकास कार्यों का इंतज़ार रहेगा जिससे समस्त उदयपुरवासियों का जीवन आसान होगा और यहाँ आने वाले टूरिस्ट्स का भी अनुभव अच्छे सन्दर्भ में यादगार होगा।

जानिए उदयपुर के लिए कैसा रहा बजट 2022

2022-23 का आम बजट इस बार अपने साथ कई उतर-चढाव और सौगातें भी लेकर आया। बजट का फायदा देश की 100 स्मार्ट सिटियाें में शामिल उदयपुर काे भी अतिरिक्त बजट के रूप में मिलेगा। साथ ही जिले के कृषि विश्वविद्यालय को और करदाताओं को इस बजट से लाभ भी होगा।

स्मार्ट सिटी के कार्यों काे बड़ी राहत

केंद्र सरकार के आम बजट 2022-23 से उदयपुर के स्मार्ट सिटी के कामों काे बड़ी राहत के संकेत भी मिले हैं। इस बजट में शहरी विकास पर खासा ज़ोर दिया गया है। इससे शहर में स्मार्ट सड़क, सीवरेज, ड्रेनेज, बिजली, पानी, सप्लाई, स्वच्छता के कामों को अब जा कर गति मिलेगी।

हाउसिंग में आयकर छूट नहीं

उदयपुर में पिछले 10 साल से हर साल औसतन 10 हज़ार नए घर बनते हैं। प्राॅपर्टी कारोबार को गति हाउसिंग में आयकर छूट को 1.5 लाख से बढ़ाकर 5 लाख करने पर ही मिलती, जाे इस बार भी नहीं मिली। हाउसिंग में आयकर छूट नहीं बढ़ने से बिल्डर्स काफी निराश हैं।

कृषि विश्वविद्यालयों में शोध व नवाचार को बढ़ावा

बजट 2022 को कृषि विश्वविद्यालयों में शोध व नवाचार को बढ़ावा देने वाला बताया जा रहा है और इसकी वजह यह भी है की एमपीयूएटी में रिसर्च के लिए इस बार ज़्यादा फंड आएगा। बताया जा रहा है कि केंद्र और राज्य सरकार से मिलने वाले बजट से विश्वविद्यालय का इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर बढ़ेगा। इस बजट से विवि में इंटीग्रेटेड फार्मिंग सिस्टम, फूड सेफ्टी, फूड एग्रीकल्चर प्रक्टिसेज़, एग्रीकल्चर प्रोसेसिंग और एग्रीकल्चर मार्केटिंग की शिक्षा का सीधा फायदा किसानों को होगा।

संभाग के 4 लाख करदाताओं को लाभ

केंद्र सरकार के चौथे बजट में वित्त मंत्री ने आयकरदाताओं को बड़ी राहत देते हुए आईटीआर को दो साल तक अपडेट करने की सुविधा दी है। इस सुविधा का फायदा उदयपुर संभाग के 4 लाख आयकरदाताओं को भी मिलेगा। पहले आईटीआर फाइल करने की तारीख 31 जुलाई होती थी तो आयकरदाता 31 दिसंबर तक आईटीआर अपडेट कर सकते थे। इस साल कोरोना के चलते विभाग ने अंतिम तिथि 31 मार्च 2022 तक कर दी है। नए बदलाव के चलते अगर आयकरदाता पहले साल में रिटर्न अपडेट करता है और अतिरिक्त आय दिखाता है तो उसे उस आय का 25% टैक्स, ब्याज, 4% एजुकेशन सेस व सरचार्ज देना होगा। वहीं दूसरे साल में अपडेट करने पर 50% टैक्स, ब्याज, 4% सेस और सरचार्ज का भुगतान करना पड़ेगा।

जहाँ बजट 2022 में टैक्स में छूट नहीं मिली और मनरेगा का बजट भी घटाया गया वहीँ कई प्रतिनिधियों का कहना है की इस बजट के अंतर्गत बेरोज़गारों को रोज़गार मिलेगा और किसानो की आय भी बढ़ेगी। इसके बाद शहर में कई अन्य प्रोजेक्ट्स को भी स्वीकृति मिली है, जिससे आने वाले समय में आम जान को फायदा होगा।
