उदयपुर की नए साल से उम्मीदें

नया साल लग गया है और हर नए साल की तरह इस बार उमीदें भी नई है। 2021 में क्या कुछ नहीं देखा हमने: लोकडाउन, कोरोना का बहुत ही भयानक रूप और कुम्हारों के भट्टे का ट्रैफिक। इसी बीच 2022 के पहले हफ्ते में जिस तरह से कोरोना संक्रमण बढ़ रहा है वो भी चिंताजनक है।

अब इस नए साल में सारी परेशानियों और एक तेज़ी से फैलते वायरस के बीच में लेकसिटी विकास की उम्मीद में है। आइए जानते है 2022 के उन प्रोजेक्ट्स के बारे में जिनसे उदयपुर विकास की ओर अग्रसर होगा।

नए टर्मिनल भवन से अन्तरराष्ट्रीय उड़ानों की आस

महाराणा प्रताप एयरपोर्ट पर इस साल अगर नया टर्मिनल भवन शुरू हुआ तो यहाँ से अन्तरराष्ट्रीय उड़ानों की शुरुआत हो सकेगी। नया टर्मिनल भवन मौजूदा टर्मिनल से 3 गुना बड़ा होगा। इसमें 6 एयरोब्रिज बनेंगे। वहीं, टर्मिनल-2 बनने से एयरपोर्ट पर स्थायी रूप से कस्टम और इमीग्रेशन काउंटर खुलेंगे। जहाँ उदयपुर में हर साल पर्यटकों की संख्या बढ़ रही है वहीं उदयपुर एयरपोर्ट में नयी कार्गो सुविधाएं शुरू हो चुकी है। ऐसे में देश-दुनिया से जोड़ने के लिए यहाँ अन्तरराष्ट्रीय उड़ने भी अगर शुरू हो जाती है तो उदयपुर देश की नंबर-1 टूरिस्ट सिटी भी बन सकता है।

एडवेंचर स्पोर्ट्स होगा पर्यटन का आकर्षण

2021 में उदयपुर में रिकॉर्ड तोड़ पर्यटक आए और नए वर्ष में भी रिकार्ड्स टूटने की पूरी संभावना। साथ ही फतेहसागर झील के किनारे एडवेंचर एक्टिविटीज़ भी शुरू होने की संभावना है। यह एडवेंचर स्पोर्ट्स पर्यटकों के लिए के नया आकर्षण होगा। इसमें बंजी जंपिंग और स्काई साइकिल जैसी एडवेंचर एक्टिविटीज़ होंगी।

क्रिकेट स्टेडियम का शुरू हो निर्माण

कानपुर खेड़ा में अन्तरराष्ट्रीय क्रिकेट स्टेडियम के लिए ज़मीन आवंटन के बाद अब वहां स्टेडियम के निर्माण पर काम होना है। इसको लेकर कवायद भी शुरू हुई है लेकिन नव वर्ष में उम्मीद है की इस पर काम शुरू कर स्टेडियम तैयार हो जाए।

नीमच माता तक रोप-वे

फतेहसागर से देवली छोर होकर रोप-वे बनाने की तैयारी चल रही है, जिससे सीधे नीमच माता मंदिर तक पहुंचा जा सकेगा। इसके लाइसेंस प्रक्रिया के लिए कलेक्टर ने आपत्तियां भी मांग ली हैं। लाइसेंस के बाद अगली प्रक्रिया शुरू होगी।

दो नए फ्लाईओवर होंगे तैयार

सेवाश्रम और कुम्हारों का भत्ता फ्लाईओवर जिससे सबसे ज़्यादा वाहनों की आवाजाही में तकलीफ हो रही है, वो 2022 में पूरा बन के तैयार हो जाएगा। वो बनने के बाद देहलीगेट चौराहा के फ्लाईओवर के प्रस्ताव पर भी काम शुरू होगा जो वह होने वाले जाम से मुक्ति दिलाएगा।

आयड़ को संवारने का सपना

आयड़ नदी को संवारने के लिए सालों से प्लान बन रहा है, लेकिन अभी तक यह साकार नहीं हुआ है। प्रोजेक्ट को साकार करने के लिए जनप्रतिनिधियों व अफसरों को काम कर 2022 में परिणाम देने चाहिए जिससे इस साल आयड़ नदी की नई तस्वीर सामने आएगी।

चिकित्सा और मेडिकल के क्षेत्र में विस्तार विकास

उदयपुर मेडिकल हब के रूप में विकसित हो चूका है। यहाँ 6 मेडिकल कॉलेज हैं, जो की प्रदेश में सर्वाधिक है। अब यहाँ मरीज़ों को उच्च स्तरीय सुविधाएं प्राप्त हो उसके लिए नव वर्ष में विस्तार और विकास की ज़रूरत है। मेडिकल का कन्वेंशन सेंटर तैयार होना चाहिए, जिसमे एक साथ पांच से दस हज़ार लोगो को बैठने की व्यवस्था हो, वहीं यहाँ उनके आवास व अन्य सुविधाएं भी उसी परिसर में उपलब्ध हो। संक्रामक रोग अस्पताल व अनुसन्धान केंद्र अलग से होना ज़रूरी है ताकि कोरोना जैसी महामारी में अन्य मरीज़ों का उपचार प्रभावित ना हो।

इस साल बर्ड पार्क शुरू होगा

इस साल गुलाबबाग में बर्ड पार्क की शुरुआत होगी। पार्क में अभी तक 7 पिंजरे तैयार हो चुके है, जिसमे 5 पिंजरों में विभिन्न प्रकार के तोते होंगे। एक पिंजरे में मकाऊ, ककाऊ पक्षी होंगे। एक में बर्ड्स ऑफ़ प्रे व ग्रीन मुनिया होंगी। पहले से ही सज्जनगढ़ बायोलॉजिकल पार्क से 7 एमु लाकर छोड़ दिए है। साथ ही उल्लू सहित अन्य पक्षियों के पिंजरे बनाए जा रहे है। पिंजरों पर रंग का काम पूरा हो गया है। अब बस बर्ड पार्क खुलने की देर है।

उम्मीद है की ये सभी सौगाते साल ख़त्म होने से पहले हमारे शहर को मिलेंगी। इन्ही उम्मीदों के साथ एक और चाह है की हम सब कोरोना की गाइडलाइन्स की सही से पलना करे और विकास और उम्मीद की गाड़ी को आगे बढ़ने दें।

OnePlus Phone Explodes In Udaipur!

If something is heating up, it’s probably your phone!

We very often come across information about exploding smartphones. And with the recent hike in the OnePlus phone’s popularity, complaints like a OnePlus phone exploded in an advocate’s gown, a OnePlus phone exploded in someone’s trouser pocket and so many such are flourishing too. Well, this year commenced with one such news too.

At approximately 4 pm while riding his bike, a youngster from Udaipur, Dushyant Goswami felt heat raging in his pant’s pocket. He immediately stopped and took out the phone. The phone was so hot that he couldn’t even hold it for long. At that very moment, he saw smoke coming out of the phone and immediately threw the phone away. The phone exploded within 10 seconds and thankfully Dushyant did not suffer any harm.

Wait, the story does not end here!

The phone was OnePlus Nord CE 5G, which the young lad bought on July 14th, 2021 and within 6 months, the phone exploded on the second day of the new year 2022. 

As per the popular protocol, we all follow, he connected with customer support on OnePlus. They in return asked him to wait for 24 to 48 hours. Loyally, he waited, and with no response from their side even after 2 days, he decided to take the feedback and called to receive an answer to visit the service center. 

With all patience, he went to the service center. There they said that he’ll receive a call from the company the very next day. Again, nil. So, he started a new cycle of calling customer care and received the same answer to wait for 24 to 48 hours. 

Dushyant then stood up in his own rescue and tweeted the incident along with sharing the same on LinkedIn and Instagram. Many people supported him and with retweeting and resharing, OnePlus finally received his query. He’ll soon be receiving a replacement from OnePlus.

Well, what they say is, “all’s well if the end’s well”. Dushyant was savvy enough to save himself from a possible harm, make sure you are too.

These are technologically driven times and whilst our lives are majorly dependent on these new-age techs, we also need to be aware of them.

A Spur Of Tourism Post Lockdown In The City Of Lakes

When everything did stop due to a virus that turned our lives upside down, it was not easy to stand still as an economy. Especially, when the concept of lockdown was introduced to us; that was a for sure hit!

Well, like every other thing, Udaipur that is majorly dependent on the tourism sector for its economic developments, did hit rock-bottom. Lockdown made us suffer all. But as much as the year 2021 was filled with bad news, the good news arrived this year soon after the lockdown. Tourism took a major surge in the city of lakes and in such a way that a decade of Udaipur’s tourism did not witness such hiked amount of tourists.

According to the reposts of the Regional Tourism Office, Udaipur showed a near 1 million domestic tourists visiting Udaipur in 2021, with 67% of the total being recorded in the last 5 months of 2021. The city of lakes recorded nearly 7 lakh tourists between August & December.

Also, in 2021, from August, September, October, November till December, the city sited maximum tourist hits in approximately last one decade. August recorded 100,580 tourists; September 86,240; October 115,450; November 160,000 and in December the number was 180,000.

As we are commencing 2022, how can we foresee the ups and downs of 2021? But, seeing the world from the glass half full side, the domestic tourism boom in 2021 actually recovered many losses that occurred due to lockdown. Though domestic tourism post-pandemic took a spur, nothing much was received from international tourism.
