All about the Pre-wedding ceremonies

  • Meal for orphans – The Ambani family has tied up with NGOs to make sure that during this 3-day ceremony, no family in Udaipur sleeps without food. Additionally, around 5100 physically impaired people of Narayan Seva Sansthan were presented with a full packed feast. Apart from that, Sweets, cakes, dry fruits, fruits, and flavored milk packets are being provided in some government schools as a part of their Mid-day meal programme.

  • Celebrations will begin from today – Pre-wedding celebrations of the couple will begin with the Maha aarti of Lord Shreenath. Rajasthani Art and Culture Exhibition will be conducted in the lawns of Udaivilas. The Sangeet ceremony will be conducted at the Udaivilas where a 35 feet high statue of Shrinathji has been setup for the Sandhya Maha Aarti.

  • Entire City Palace of Udaipur has been dolled up where the preparations of the functions are going on.

What changes are seen in Udaipur during the celebration?

  • All the renowned hotels of the city have been jam-packed creating a bit of inconvenience to the tourists of Udaipur.
  • More than 200 chartered planes will land at Udaipur airport where 30-50 private charters will land daily making it the busiest this season. The traffic is not just expected at the airport but on the roads as well where several luxury cars such as Porche, Jaguar, Audi, BMW, Mercedes Benz, etc. can be witnessed.
  • Not just that but Vistara that does not have flights to Udaipur will operate a few flights in the city. Vistara tweets ‘#Udaipur! Vistara is operating special flights between Delhi, Udaipur, and Mumbai on 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th December’.
  • Many additional Jio towers are placed in the city which seems to be intended for the pre-wedding celebrations.

Udaipur Chamber of Commerce and Industry: Key to Success for GST Accounting Students

Udaipur Chamber of Commerce and Industry is a multi-district apex body of trade, industry, mining, education, and tourism. This leading association of southern Rajasthan has more than 500 direct members. While UCCI works to promote industrial development in the region, it is actively involved in skill development for the youth to build their career in the industry.

It is a matter of pride for the association that it was inaugurated by Hon. Minister Shri. Nitin Gadkari last year on 14th July. Within a short period, the vocational training programme of UCCI has proved itself to be a valuable initiative. Conceptualised by UCCI president, Shri Hansraj Choudhary and brought to reality by tireless efforts of CA Ravish Mandawat and CA Devashish Kogata, the programme has garnered a massive interest among the youngsters and every year it helps around 400 students develop their skills and find jobs in the accounting profession.

VTC provides a very exclusive GST Accounting training which includes the practical knowledge along with the theory. Each batch consists of only 20 students and more. The training module is designed to incorporate on hands training on actual company financial data. The curriculum focuses on advanced concepts of accounting, advance tally with inventory, advanced MS Excel, GST implications and MS Office suite. Apart from the GST accounting concepts the programme also covers the following:

  1. GST return filing
  2. Online tax payments and knowledge of eGras
  3. eWay bill generation
  4. Stock market
  5. Communication and presentation skills

The biggest advantage of this programme is that the training is conducted by a team of young, enthusiastic and reputed Chartered Accountants from the industry who support students to get clarity in their training. When approached for a comment, UCCI President Shri. Hansraj Choudhary said “The knowledge provided at schools and colleges is quite inclined towards theory and doesn’t exactly match the requirement of the industries. To fulfill this requirement of industries in the aspirant, VTC works as a catalyst and makes a student become impeccable with both theoretical and practical knowledge.” 

After the successful completion of 20 batches, a new batch is going to start from 25th September 2018 and those who want to benefit from this highly specialized accounting training should apply now.

सगस जी के 402वें जन्मदिन पर आइये उनके चमत्कारों पर कुछ बातें करे

हर वर्ष श्रावण के शुक्ल पक्ष में सगस जी बावजी का जन्मदिन पूरे मेवाड़ में काफी उत्साह के साथ मनाया जाता है। उदयपुर में सभी सगस जी के मंदिरों के बाहर इस दिन काफी भीड़ रहती है। आखिरकार सभी भक्त सगस जी के दर्शन के एक पल के लिए पूरा दिन इंतज़ार करने के लिए तैयार जो रहते है। इसी अवसर पर हमने सगस जी के बारे में कुछ और बातें जानने के लिए महंत मिट्ठालाल चित्तौड़ा से बात की।

86 वर्षीय महंत मिट्ठालाल चित्तौड़ा वह युवक है जिन्होंने सगस जी की मूर्ती को अपने घर में ही एक छोटे से मंदिर के रूप में आश्रय दे रखा है। 40 साल पुराने इस मंदिर से भी काफी रोचक कहानी जुड़ी हुई है। दरअसल इस मंदिर की शुरुआत सिटी पैलेस में महज़ एक तस्वीर के रूप में हुई थी। उस समय हर एक व्यक्ति का पैलेस में आकर सगस जी के दर्शन करना संभव नहीं था। इस कारण मिट्ठालाल जी के पिताजी को ये सुझाव पहली बार सूझा और तब ही उन्होंने बावजी की तस्वीर को अपने घर में विराजमान किया।

उस दिन को आज 40 साल हो चुके है और दिन-ब-दिन श्रद्धालुओं की संख्या बढ़ती ही चली आ रही है। श्रद्धालुओं की बात करें तो सगस जी ने अपने दर्शन के लिए ना केवल उदयपुरवासियों को बल्कि कई विदेशियों को भी बुलाया है। इसी वजह से मंदिर का उल्लेख कई विदेशी पुस्तकों में भी है। यह मंदिर अब इतना प्रसिद्द हो चुका है की कई राजनेताओं जैसे गुलाबचंद जी कटारिया, किरण महेश्वरी, गिरिजा व्यास, आदि का पधारना भी हुआ है यहाँ। हर रविवार को यहाँ प्रशादी होती है जो करवाने लिए लोग स्वेच्छा से बुकिंग करवा देते है। चौंकाने वाली बात यह है की वर्ष 2020 तक की बुकिंग लोगों ने अभी से ही करवा रखी है।

सगस जी का हर रविवार काफी सुन्दर श्रृंगार होता है जिसमें अलग अलग वस्तुओं का इस्तेमाल होता है जैसे सोना, बादले, केसर, चाँदी, हल्दी आदि। इतना ही नहीं बल्कि अलग अलग त्योहारों पर भी उत्सव सम्बन्धी श्रृंगार होता है जैसे हरियाली अमावस्या पर हरे रंग का श्रृंगार तो प्रताप जयंती पर युद्ध के मैदान जैसा श्रृंगार।

सगस जी के कुछ चमत्कारों की कहानी भक्तों की ज़बानी

  • सुशील चित्तौड़ा, जो की मिट्ठालाल जी के पुत्र है, उन्होंने अपनी कहानी हमारे साथ साँझा की। उन्होंने बताया की बहुत 17-18 साल तक कोशिश करने के बाद भी उन्हें पुत्र का सुख नही मिल पा रहा था। करीब 80 डॉक्टरों और दिल्ली, अहमदाबाद जैसे शहरों के होस्पिटलों का दरवाज़ा खटखटाने के बाद भी उन्हें कोई परिणाम नहीं मिला। आखिरकार उन्होंने अपना दुःख सगस जी के सामने रखा और 1 ही साल में उन्हें एक पुत्र की प्राप्ति हो गई।
  • अमित कोठारी, जो की सगस जी के एक भक्त हैं, ने अपनी कहानी बताई। वे कुछ समय पहले कार में कहीं जा रहे थे। उनकी कार की रफ़्तार थोड़ी तेज़ ही थी। अचानक उन्हें सगस जी, जो की नाग योनी में दिखाई देते है, दिखाई दिए और उन्होंने अपनी कार की रफ़्तार कम कर दी। एक और कार उन्हें ओवरटेक करते हुए आगे निकली और कुछ ही दूरी पर उस कार का एक्सीडेंट हो गया। अमित जी कहते है की ये बावजी ही थे जिन्होनें उनकी जान बचाई।
  • वही विभूति भटनागर ने कहा की शादी की बाद उनके पति की कम इनकम के बावजूद उन्होंने एक घर खरीदा लेकिन घर में काफी परेशानी होने के कारण उन्हें वह कम पैसों में बेचना पड़ा। अब इसके बाद उन्हें रेंट पर रहना पड़ रहा था और पैसों की कमी के कारण घर चलाने में भी काफी दिक्कत हो रही थी। बावजी से अपनी परेशानी बताने पर उनकी एक चौकी में उन्होंने कहा की आने वाले 3 महीनों में तुम्हारे पास अपना एक घर होगा। 3 महीनें पूरे होने में केवल 4 ही दिन बाकी थे और विभूति की काफी समय से अटकी हुई लोन की अर्जी सेंक्शन हो गई और उनकें घर का काम चल पड़ा।

और भी ऐसी कई कहानियां हमें चित्तौड़ा परिवार से और सगस जी के भक्तों से सुनने को मिली और यकीन मानिए जितना ताज्जुब आपको हो रहा है इन कहानियों को सुन के उतना ही हमें भी हुआ लेकिन कहते है की श्रद्धा और सच्चे मन से मांगी हुई हर इच्छा पूरी हो ही जाती है।

सगस जी के इस जन्मोत्सव पर आप भी जाये और उनके दर्शन के लाभ लें। यूं तो सगस जी के मंदिर उदयपुर के कई कोनों में आपको देखने को मिल जाएँगे लेकिन प्रमुख मंदिर इन स्थानों में है – सर्वऋतू विलास, गुलाबबाग, मंडी की नाल, पिछोली, कंवरपदा, मदन पोल, और कुम्हारों का भट्टा।

Udaipur’s MLA Resumes Education After 40 Years

How many times have you thought about doing something and discarded the plan saying ‘it’s too late now’? It wouldn’t be a surprise if you have recalled quite many incidents after reading the first line. It is a mere human tendency where we simply put off something which we don’t want to do using some conventional excuses.

But breaking the norms and doing what you really want to do is a road less taken. And here is one perfect example of someone who did exactly that. A rural MLA of Udaipur, Phool Singh Meena quit his studies after Class 7th. He gave up studies after his father, who was in the army, died. After his father died, he had to quit studies to take care of his family.

After he became a counselor, he had to interact with different senior officials and leaders, so his daughters insisted him to study further. He too used to think the same but he was a bit skeptical of his age. Another issue was the time needed to study. At times, during his speeches to students on different occasions, he used to preach the importance of education but he realized that his words sounded quite hollow as he himself didn’t follow his words of wisdom.

It is truly said that if you overpower your inner devil, there’s no other obstacle in the world that can stop you from achieving something you want to. After these incidents, his conscience started kicking in and he finally decided to resume his studies. At the age of 55, he started studying for his further education after 40 years.

Today, he has cleared 10th and 12th standard and now he has started the preparation of his BA first year’s examinations. To manage his time for work and studies, he has smartly combined both. When he is traveling from one place to another, he is tutored by Sanjay Lunawat who is the Principal of Government Senior Secondary School, Manvakheda. Sanjay also sends him WhatsApp audios regarding his lessons for his smooth and uninterrupted studies. And when he is at home, his daughters help him with it. Sanjay appreciates Meena for his dedication and hard work.

Meena doesn’t intend to stop after graduation but wishes to do post-graduation and Ph.D. too. His daughters are very proud of him.

That’s the thing about will. Once you are devoted towards something no one can ever stop you from doing that, let alone these societal norms, they are too shallow to stop anyone. Phool Singh Meena is an inspiration to all of us. Whether be it Meena or someone else, whether be it education or something else, the right time to begin every great thing would be right now. Meena is the living example to the quote ‘you are never too old to learn’. He teaches us that if he can do it, maybe we all can, maybe we all will.
