गुरुवार को हुई 2 घंटे की तेज़ बारिश के बाद शहर के सभी झीलों में पानी की आवक लगातार ज़ारी है। पिछोला में लगातार आवक के चलते स्वरूपसागर के गेट खोल दिए गए जिससे आयड़ नदी के ज़रिए उदयसागर तक पानी पहुँचने लगा।
उदयसागर बांध का जलस्तर भी 24 फ़ीट के चेतावनी स्तर से ऊपर पहुँच गया जिससे गुरुवार रात बांध के दो गेट 1-1 फ़ीट तक खोल दिए गए।
अगर ऐसी ही बारिश का सिलसिला जारी रहा तो फ़तहसागर जो अब तक 12 फ़ीट से ऊपर पहुँच गया है उसके भी गेट 13 फ़ीट भराव होते ही खोल दिए जाएँगे।
शहर में दाेपहर करीब डेढ़ घंटे में पौने तीन इंच पानी बरसा। गिर्वा तहसील कार्यालय के रेन गेज स्टेशन पर 65 मिमी बारिश रिकॉर्ड हुई। माैसम विभाग के विशेषज्ञों के अनुसार मेवाड़ में अगले दाे दिन में कहीं तेज ताे कहीं मध्यम बारिश हाेने की उम्मीद है।
मोहनलाल सूखाड़िया विश्वविद्यालय के UG और PG के अंतिम वर्ष की परीक्षाएँ 12 सितंबर से शुरू होंगी। इस बार परीक्षाएँ तीन पारियों में होंगी जिनकी समय अवधि 3 घंटे की बजाए 2 घंटे की होगी।
परीक्षा के दौरान जिन स्टूडेण्ट्स की परीक्षा की समयसारिणी घोषित हो चुकी है उनके लिए छात्रावास सुविधाएँ भी उपलब्ध कराई जाएँगी। इसके अंतर्गत टाइम टेबल से एक हफ़्ते पहले छात्रावास खोल दिए जाएँगे।
UG और PG के फाइनल ईयर की परीक्षाएं लॉकडाउन के कारण नहीं हो पाई थी। हाल ही में आए सुप्रीम कोर्ट के निर्णय के बाद फाइनल ईयर के फाइनल सेमेस्टर की बची हुई परीक्षाएं करवाई जा रही है। इसमे नियमित और स्वयंपाठी दोनों ही स्टूडेंट्स एग्जाम देंगे।
MLSU ने इन एक्साम्स के आयोजन के लिए 65 केंद्र बनाए गए है जहां करीब 42 हज़ार स्टूडेंट्स एग्जाम देंगे।
परिवर्तित व्यवस्था के अंतर्गत इस बार एक्साम्स तीन घण्टे की बजाय दो घण्टे की ही होंगी। साथ ही इस बार क्वेश्चन पेपर में भी तीन सेक्शंस में से केवल दो ही सेक्शंस अटेंड करने होंगे। आखरी ‘C’ सेक्शन हल नहीं करना होगा।
UG – PG की ये एक्साम्स तीन पारियों में सुबह 8 से 10, 12 से 2 तथा 4 से 6 बजे होगी।
सभी स्टूडेंट्स को निर्धारित समय से आधे घण्टे पहले एग्जाम सेंटर पर पहुंचना होगा। सभी स्टूडेंट्स की थर्मल स्केनिंग और सेनिटाइजेशन होगा जिसके बाद ही स्टूडेंट्स एग्जाम दे सकेंगे। स्टूडेंट्स को अपने साथ मास्क, पीने का पानी और सेनिटाइजर भी साथ लाने के निर्देश दिए गए हैं।
MLSU के कुलपति ने कोविड गाइडलाइन के अनुरूप सभी अधीक्षकों को पूरी गम्भीरता से एक्साम्स करवाने के निर्देश दिए हैं।
विश्वविद्यालय की ओर से आयोजित होने वाली एक्साम्स के दौरान छात्रावास सुविधाएं भी उपलब्ध करवाई जाएगी। कोविड-19 के दिशा निर्देशों का पालन करते हुए स्टूडेंट्स को यह सुविधा उपलब्ध करवाई जाएगी। यह सुविधा केवल उन्हीं स्टूडेंट्स के लिए होगी जिनका एग्जाम टाइम टेबल घोषित हो चूका होगा। एग्जाम के निर्धारित टाइम टेबल से 1 सप्ताह पूर्व छात्रावास खोल दिए जाएंगे।
After the Railways identified the six sections for high speed and semi-high speed rail corridors including Jaipur-Udaipur-Ahmedabad sections in January, the National High-Speed Rail Corporation Limited ((NHSRCL), in the latest development on the project, invited the first set of tenders for the 886 km long Delhi-Jaipur-Udaipur-Ahmedabad high-speed corridor to kickstart preparations.

NHSRCL, on Tuesday, floated the tenders for collection of relevant data for the preparation of Detailed Project Report (DPR). The data includes preparation of drawings of crossing bridges over rivers/canals/railways and roads including National Highways, State Highways, Expressway and major district roads along with general arrangement drawings (GADs) of proposed stations and maintenance depots. The bids have also been invited to carry out traffic study (ridership study) and data collection and associated survey work for DPR of the corridor.
The detailed project report will study the feasibility of the project by checking the land availability, traffic potential and alignment. On the basis of these factors, the Railway Board will decide if the route is fit for the high-speed or semi-high-speed corridor.
Rajasthan government, on Sunday evening, issued fresh guidelines for the fourth phase of unlocking. These guidelines are largely based on the ones issued by the Union Home Ministry on Saturday, August 29.
The fourth phase of unlocking will take place from September 1 till September 30.
As per the order from Rajasthan Government, lockdown will remain in force in all the containment zones till September 30, 2020. The zones will be demarcated and notified by the district collector after taking into consideration the guidelines of the Ministry of Health. Only essential activities will be allowed in those areas.
The government has directed for intensive contact tracing, house-to-house surveillance and other clinical interventions in the containment zones.

Skills or entrepreneurship training have been allowed in National Skill Training Institutes, Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs).
Higher education institutions only for research scholars (PhD) and post-graduate students of technical and professional programmes requiring laboratory and experimental works will be permitted. These will be permitted by the Department of Higher Education (DHE) in consultation with the MHA.
Open-air theatres will be permitted to reopen with effect from September 21.
Metro rail services will be allowed to operate with effect from September, in a graded manner.
International air travel, except as permitted by the MHA, will not be allowed.
Social, academic, sports, entertainment, cultural, religious, and other congregations will be permitted with a ceiling of 50 persons, with effect from September 21.
Marriage-related gathering can be held by giving prior information to SDM. The state government has permitted the maximum number of guests not more than 50.
In funeral -related gatherings, not more than 20 people will be allowed until September 21, 2020. Later 50 people can be allowed.
All worship places will be permitted to open from September 7, 2020, with certain protocols.
There will be no restriction on inter-state and intra-state movement of people and goods. No separate permission, approval, or e-permit will be required for such movement.

The Lake City of Rajasthan, Udaipur, has been ranked as the cleanest city in the state with a population of less than 10 lakh under the Swachh Survekshan 2020, the Central government’s annual survey, announced on Thursday.
The city also bagged the 54th spot, in the category of cities with a population between 1 lakh and 10 lakh, in the survey held by the union ministry of housing and urban affairs (MoHUA) under Swachh Bharat Mission. This is a considerable improvement from last year when the city bagged the 136th position on the national level in the category. 25 cities in Rajasthan fall under the category of cities with a population less than 10 lakh.
The city, which ranked 2nd in the state last year, scored 3814.36 out of 6000 points in the 2020 cleanliness survey.
The Udaipur Municipal Corporation authority, which is primarily responsible for taking care of infrastructure development and the civic work in the city, said it is taking necessary measures to perform even better in the 2021 survey.
Udaipur performed well on Direct Observation and Citizens’ Feedback parameters securing 1164 and 1155.30 points respectively out of total 1500.

The Swachhta survey results were delayed in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. The survey, which covered 4,242 cities and saw the participation of nearly 1.87 crore citizens, was completed in 28 days.
To streamline the recruitment process for non-gazetted posts in the central government and public sector banks, Union Cabinet on Wednesday approved setting up the National Recruitment Agency. The new agency will conduct a Common Eligibility Test (CET) for all the competitive exams.
The move will streamline the recruitment process for government jobs, and will also help put in place a single national exam for all government jobs at a time. The agency will conduct a single entrance exam for various vacancies that the government advertises every year.
The current recruitment model comprises several exams by different recruitment agencies. NRA will act as a multi-agency body to encompass the first level test currently conducted by agencies like Staff Selection Commission (SSC), the Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) and the Institute of Banking Service Personnel (IBPS).
National Recruitment Agency will shortlist qualifying candidates from the bulk of applicants and forward the list to SSC, IBPS, etc, to hold the mains.
The new agency will be an “independent, professional, specialist organisation and will conduct an exam, which would be known as the Common Eligibility Test
The proposal for the National Recruitment Agency was first introduced by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in the Union Budget 2020.

The National Recruitment Agency agency will conduct an entrance test for Staff Selection Commission (SSC) and the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) and Railway Recruitment Board (RRB).
NRA will conduct preliminary exams for the hiring of non-gazetted, non-technical and clerical posts in the government along with various equivalent recruitment in public sector banks through a Common Eligibility Test.
A multi-agency body will conduct a separate CET each for the three levels – Graduate, 12th pass and 10th pass candidates.
On the basis of the CET score level, final selection for recruitment will be done through separate specialised exams which will be conducted by the respective recruitment agencies.
The score of CET will be valid for three years.
No restriction will be put on the number of attempts to be taken by a candidate to appear in the CET subject to the upper age limit.
Common Eligibility Test would enable the candidates to appear once and apply to any or all of these recruitment agencies for the higher level of exam.
The curriculum for this test would be common as would be the standard.
Candidates would have the facility of registering on a common portal and give a choice of centres.
The CET would be available in a number of languages.
The NRA will set up examination centres in every district of the country.
With a single common entrance test, candidates will no longer need to spend money to fill up different applications for different jobs. Besides, the cost of travelling for different exams will also be saved.

ऐसे लोग जो अपने व्यवसाय या कार्य के चलते आमजन से लगातार संपर्क में आते हैं जैसे सलून संचालक, मेडिकल स्टोर संचालक, किराना व्यवसायी, सब्ज़ी विक्रेता, दूध वितरक, गैस सिलेंडर वितरण करने वाले, सफ़ाईकर्मी, ऑटो रिक्शा चालक, बैंककर्मी, ठेलेवालों आदि जैसे सभी सुपर स्प्रेडर को 24 अगस्त तक अनिवार्य रूप से कोरोना जाँच करानी होगी।
चिकित्सा विभाग ने जाँच के लिए शहर में 7 जगहों पर यह सुविधा उपलब्ध कराई है।

शहर की सड़कों पर बरसों से दौड़ रहें टेम्पो को बंद करने की शुक्रवार को कलेक्टर ने अधिसूचना जारी की।
इसके अंतर्गत डीज़ल चालित ऑटो, टेम्पो के नए रेजिस्ट्रेशन, पुनः रेजिस्ट्रेशन, ओनरशिप ट्रान्स्फ़र और 15 साल पुराने डीज़ल चालित कमर्शल वहनों के संचालन पर प्रतिबंध रहेगा।
नेशनल ग्रीन ट्रिब्यूनल, परिवहन आयुक्त और शासन सचिव राजस्थान की और से जारी निर्देशों के अंतर्गत उदयपुर जिला कलेक्टर चेतन देवड़ा ने अधिसूचना जारी की। अधिसूचना के तहत उदयपुर यूआईटी की सीमा के अंदर यह प्रतिबन्ध लागू होगा।
वाहनों को फेज-आउट करने के लिए उनका री-रजिस्ट्रेशन, दूसरे जिलों के वाहनों का ओनरशिप ट्रांसफर, दूसरे राज्यों के वाहनों का परमिट, रिन्यूअल, ट्रांसफर और 15 साल पुराने डीज़ल चलित कमर्शल वहनों के संचालन को प्रतिबंधित किया गया है।
नेशनल ग्रीन ट्रिब्यूनल, दिल्ली की ओर से देश के १०२ शहरों में प्रदूषण नियंत्रण के आदेश दिए गए है। इसमें राज्य के उदयपुर, जयपुर, कोटा, जोधपुर और अलवर भी शामिल है।
जिला कलेक्टर के जारी किए आदेशानुसार उदयपुर में प्रत्येक शनिवार रात 9 बजे से सोमवार सुबह 5 बजे तक लॉकडाउन रहेगा। इस दौरान लोगों के आवागमन पर पूरी तरह प्रतिबंध रहेगा। केवल ज़रूरी सेवाओं और कर्मचारियों पर यह प्रतिबंध लागू नही होगा।
कोरोना संक्रमण के बढऩे केसेस के के चलते उदयपुर जिला कलेक्टर ने आदेश जारी कर हर रविवार शहर में लॉकडाउन लागू करने के निर्देश दिए। कलेक्टर द्वारा जारी निर्देशानुसार शनिवार रात 9 से सोमवार की सुबह 5 बजे तक नगर निगम सीमा में सम्पूर्ण लॉकडाउन रहेगा।
कलेक्टर चेतन देवड़ा ने शुक्रवार को यह आदेश जारी किया। इसके अंतर्गत हर शनिवार रात 9 से सोमवार की सुबह 5 बजे तक नगर निगम सीमा में समस्त आवागमन एवं गतिविधियों पर पूर्ण प्रतिबंध लागू रहेगा।
इस प्रतिबंध में पुलिस, जिला प्रशासन, सरकारी अधिकारी, कार्मिक चिकित्सा स्टाफ, दवा की दुकानों के मालिक एवं स्टाफ, एम्बुलेंस, चिकित्सकीय वाहन, दुग्ध वाहन, रेलवे स्टेशन, बस स्टैण्ड, चिकित्सकीय संस्थान, दूध डेयरी, राजकीय वाहन शामिल नहीं होंगे।
इसके अलावा बस स्टैण्ड, रेलवे स्टेशन और एयरपोर्ट पर आवाजाही के लिए वहां से आने या जाने वाले यात्री टिकट दिखाकर गंतव्य तक जा सकेंगे।
स्टैण्ड, रेलवे स्टेशन और एयरपोर्ट से सफर कर रहे लोगों को लाने और ले जाने वाले वाहन, निरंतर उत्पादन के प्रकृति की फैक्ट्रीयां, शवयात्रा (निर्धारित संख्या तक), पर्यटकों को होटल एवं उनका स्टाफ (रेस्टोरेंट शामिल नहीं), शादी समारोह (जिला प्रशासन से अनुमति के बाद), हाईवे, बाइपास, मुख्य मार्ग से गुजरने वाले वाहन (निजी, व्यवसायिक, वाणिज्यिक) पर प्रतिबंध नहीं रहेगा।
यह लॉकडाउन अग्रिम आदेश प्रत्येक रविवार लागू रहेगा।
