Around the purplish blue water lakes, Udaipur is an exquisite are fixed in by the lavish slopes of the Aravali. With an intend to set up a yearly mark occasion in Rajasthan and in the meantime to build up Udaipur as a noteworthy destination for World Music in South Asia, the city woke up with the first of its sort of celebration in India on February 13 and 14, 2016. The celebration which denoted the festivals of 60 years of the conciliatory relations among Spain and India likewise included Ghana, Venezuela, Italy, and France. This expansive, multi-venue, music celebration united more than 100 worldwide maestros and grouped more than 12 nations.
Udaipur World Music Festival was presented by Hindustan Zinc in coordination with Wonder Cement and Rajasthan Tourism and conceptualized by SEHER occurred. SEHER has presented various Indian victorious celebrations like Bhakti Utsav, South Asian Bands Festival, Ananya and others, while advancing the conventional, Classical Arts and craftsmen from over the differing locales of India and the World.
Tuned in to how certain spirit and music are connected with times of the day, each of the two venues showcased an alternate class of music. Celebration began with sensual treat amid evenings and finished in the nights with high vitality young shows.
The morning sessions of Udaipur World Music Festival were held at Jagmandir Island Palace powered by Hindustan Zinc. The venue for afternoon was Fateh Sagar Paal whereas at Railway Training Institute Ground for evenings. Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje witnessed the event as a Chief Guest. She indicated the importance of such musical festivals indulging tourist aspects to the city.
On the first day Fado vocalists from Portugal, Carminho performed. Mysterious French author Mathias Duplessy worked together with remarkable Rajasthani vocalist Mukhtiyar Ali from the semi-traveling group called Mirasi of Thar Desert. Flamenco, personified by one of the best Flamenco bunches TAMARA and FERNANDO added sparkle. Spanish Flamenco guitar and dance execution and the interesting African beat music by Dobet Gnahoré a Grammy recompense victor from the Ivory Coast were introduced in night. Combination Rock Bands of India – The Raghu Dixit Project winded the evening up.
The following day started with a combination of Sufi and Gospel including music by Sonam Kalra. Moroccan Saharian Soul-Oum, Afro Beat Venezuelan Cumbia – Family Atlantica from Venezeula and Ghana brought out beats getting highlighted in India for the first time. With Indian Rock Fusion Band; Papon(Angarag Mahanta) and the East Indian Company, the Festival finished on with vigour.
So to conclude this all, this was like a dream came true for the attendees and enthusiasts who travelled from various continents to make an attendance to the great world music festival. The Udaipur people got to experience amazing vibes in their city.
As per sources it will be held every year. We all wish that next year it’s going to be remarkably bigger and more managed than this time.

The 4th Udaipur Lantern Festival ended on a good note of “Light for a Cause”.
Conducted by UdaipurBlog from past 3 years, This year “Udaipur Lantern Festival 2015” event got organized with newness and much excitement on even bigger scale than before. An old wine in a new bottle, the event came up with a counterpart completely new and unique to the city to promote this “fest for a cause”.
The cause to help the poor souls who have been deprived from all the basic needs of life, the needy who are helpless, homeless, by sharing a portion of the collective amount garnered in the event to Ashadham Charitable Foundation.
The add-ons of Music, DJ, Food, Fun, acted not only as icing on the cake but turned out as complete entertainment package for the people present at the venue.
The #ULF2015 event started with an overwhelming response from the people of Udaipur. Attendees, irrespective of their ages, groups engaged themselves in the event’s fun and liveliness. Lighting of lanterns followed by Performances from Priyansh Paliwal, Sumit’s Academy of Dance & Arts and DJ Lovenish increased the beauty of this wonderful event. The Show was hosted by: RJ Himanshu

The Annual Function of Pacific Institute of Fashion Technology and Mass Communication, named ‘Illuminati 2015’ was organized on the evening of 28th June, 2015 at MLSU Auditorium.
In the fashion programme, Mr. Ashish Agrawal (Secretary, PAHER) gave a speech and later extending his best wishes to set the programme in motion. Bollywood actor Aryaman ramsay was present as Chief guest. He said that fashion is hidden behind everybody’s talent. So fashion comes out with skill.
The show featured Kaliedesope, Galaxy, Kathiyawadi, Indo-resort and Indian twist themes. Show stoppers were Alankrata Sahay(Miss Earth- 2014) and Srishti Rana (Miss Asia-Pacific, 2013). The show also featured a jewellery collection.
The “Sky full of Lighters” 2014 event carrying the message of eco-friendly Diwali organized by UdaipurBlog ended in an extremely bodacious experience.
The event made its hat-trick this year as it was first initiated in the year 2012.

The scene around Fateh Sagar Lake with floating lanterns in the azure created a splendidly peaceful and captivating moment to ponder upon. People could not take off their eyes from this wonderful and magical sight. Everyone was seen taking selfies and actively participating in the cause.
The event went excellent all because of everyone’s cooperation and a strong will for the promotion of the cause.
Lastly, we humbly request the Udaipurities to follow the leads of our dear Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi and pledge to keep our surroundings clean, green and beautiful!!!! ”Ganpati Bappa Morya” – chanted the people of Udaipur.
Lord Ganesh, the son of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati is one of the cutest and most lovable Indian gods amongst all. It is said that Ganesh was born on the fourth day of Magh and especially during that time there is an interconnection between Ganesh and Chaturthi.
Ganesh Chaturthi or Vinayaka Chaturthi was celebrated with religious fervor in Udaipur today. The celebration began with mouth-watering ‘modaks’ and other delicious sweets which were readied to offer to Lord Ganesh.
Everyone got together to join in the celebrations in the temples of Lord Ganesh including, Bohra Ganeshji, Pala Ganeshji, Jada Ganeshji, Dudhiya Ganeshji etc.
Clay models were established in these temples with people chanting ”Ganpati Bappa Morya” in synchronization.
Twice-a-day prayers’, visiting relatives and reunion with siblings and cousins is an integral part of this festival. The festival is synonymous with wisdom and prosperity. It will last for 10 days.
Amidst the hustle-bustle, let’s see how it was celebrated.
The Post Includes 2 Days Mega Coverage of the State Level Independence Day Program which was held in Udaipur. The Events included : Camel Tattoo Show in BN College, Cultural Evening – Spandan 2014 which was held in Railway Training Ground on 14th August. The next day included the Independence Day Show at Gandhi Ground, Artillery Display at Fatehsagar Paal, Laser Show at Paal in the Evening. It was a wonderful experience for the people of Udaipur to see all these activities been held in our own City.

Staged at The Sukhadia Rangmanch of town hall, professional models including Himangini Singh (Miss Asia-Pacific, 2012), Farah Husain (Femina Miss India, 2014) graced the ramp wearing the collections of Fashion Designing students of Pacific institute of fashion technology and mass communication.
The show featured a perfect blend of traditional Rajasthani ‘Bandhej’ and modern western outfits. The chief guest was Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, Mr B.R. Agrawal (Chairman, PAHER), Mr Ashish Agrawal (Financial Secretary, PAHER) , Dr Mahendra Sojatia were among the other dignitaries who marked their presence.
