As most of you know cyber crime is increasing day by day. Have you ever thought what’s the reason behind this? Why is everyone concerned about hacking?
Okay, let’s place other things aside and discuss about Udaipur. 80% websites in Udaipur can be hacked with easy efforts, including the site of CPS School, Alok, Narayan Seva Sansthan, RKayMall, Pacific University etc. (P.S.: I have Informed them)
shocked?? Well, you Better Be…. !!
Many people think hacking is a bad thing, but it is not in some ways. There are 3 major types of hackers –
Black Hat Hackers : These are the bad guys, who are typically referred to as just plain hackers. The term is often used specifically for hackers who break into networks or computers, or create computer viruses.
White Hat Hackers : These are the good guys, computer security experts who specialize in penetration testing and other methodologies to ensure that a company’s information systems are secure.
Grey Hat Hackers : A grey hat, in the hacking community, refers to a skilled hacker whose activities fall somewhere between white and black hat hackers on a variety of spectra. It may relate to whether they sometimes arguably act illegally, though in good will, or to how they disclose vulnerabilities.
Suppose you found a security loop hole in a website, now you will try to hack it and if you get success, you have 2 options. Wheather you can deface (change the site’s index (front) page with something like “Hacked by xyz”) or you can simply notify the administrator of that site about the vulnerability. A Black Hat would definetly deface the website for fun, but a White Hat will email or contact the admin about the vulnerability.
