Fortunately, we have another such attraction installed in our city to make us proud. A 1000 sq. ft. Floral Clock was installed at Udaipur’s Maharana Pratap Airport on 13 April 2021. Yes, a 1000 sq. ft. clock! This prestigious floral clock installed by Kalashetra studios at Udaipur airport is a one-of-a-kind clock. It is also said to be the seventh biggest floral clock in India. The huge floral clock will depict time by taking signals from the satellite.
The floral clock is another delightful and captivating addition to the city of lakes. Anyone travelling by air can look at this clock and get enthralled by its sheer size and beauty. It is an initiative by Kalashetra Studios, an exclusive film city in Udaipur. Kalashetra Studio is developed as the first film studio at the beautiful location named Alsigarh, situated near Udaipur. With numerous sets and facilities, the studio will prove to be one of the most preferred locations by film producers & directors. Apart from filming & shooting, the place also provides an opportunity to stage Performing Arts, Open Mic, Gigs, In-House and Open-Air Concerts, Theatre Workshops, Events, Conclaves, Exhibitions and Theme Weddings.
The floral clock is designed and engineered by a Chennai based company. The clock was installed in the presence of Nandita Bhatt, Airport Director, Maharana Pratap Airport, Udaipur. The directors and founders of Kalashetra, Mr Sunil Bhatt and Mr Jaswant Kumar Parmar, were also present at the inauguration.
