उदयपुर ज़िले के पंचायती समिति चुनाव 2020 परिणाम घोषित

जिला परिषद के 43 और 20 पंचायत समितियों के 364 सदस्याें के चुनाव परिणाम की मतगणना मंगलवार को हुई। 

परिणामों के अनुसार 20 पंचायत समितियों में भाजपा के 8 और कांग्रेस के 7 प्रधान बनने तय हैं। 5 पंचायत समितियाें में दाेनाें दलों काे बहुमत नहीं मिला है। इनमें निर्दलीय तय करेंगे कि प्रधान काैन बनेगा। वहीं जिला प्रमुख और प्रधान के चुनाव 10 दिसंबर को और उप प्रमुख व उप प्रधानों का चुनाव 11 दिसंबर को होगा। 

मंगलवार को हुई मतगणना के नतीजे इस प्रकार रहे।

Udaipur Railway Station to have Video Surveillance System

In an effort to improve the overall security of the passengers travelling in the trains, the Railway Department has decided to install smart cameras on its premises.

40 HD cameras to be installed on all the 5 platforms along with other major locations at the city railway station by the end of March this year. The department has planned to install a total number of 60 cameras.

As of now, there are just 2 cameras installed at the station which are almost 10 years old.

In phase-I that is targeted for this year, North Western Railway has recently commissioned Video Surveillance system (CCTV) at 1 thousand stations including Udaipur City Railway Station coming under Ajmer Division. The total budget approved for the project is Rs. 250 crores.

Being a major tourist destination, Udaipur City Railway Station requires a robust security system at all the public transport locations.

These cameras will be monitored by the security personnel can monitor from the control room located at the station and also from Central Security Control Rooms located at Divisional HQ in Ajmer.

This new Video Surveillance System is will ensure better security of passengers at all the railway stations and railway properties.

Udaipur City Station will have a 100 KWP Solar Plant

In a bid to contribute towards a cleaner and greener environment, Ajmer Railway Division is installing high capacity solar plant at Udaipur City Railway Station. The step would result in substantial savings in Udaipur station’s electricity consumption.

Udaipur Railway Station is all set to install a 100 kWp solar plant which is expected to produce 5 times more electricity than what is being produced right now. Currently, 20 kilowatt-peak (kWp) of electricity is being produced using solar energy.

Besides, the generation of clean solar energy facilitates a reduction in the carbon footprint to the tune of 1,170 tons per annum.

All the power needs of the energy-neutral stations like lighting, fans, pumps, and other electrical appliances are met by the solar energy generated by them, which brings down the net traditional energy consumption at these stations to zero.

Udaipur Station had earlier also installed a solar plant of 100 kilowatt-peak (kWp) capacity. However, due to a violent storm that hit the city last year, the solar panels were destroyed which reduced the capacity for of solar energy being produced to 20 kilowatt-peak (kWp).

With this new solar plant, the Udaipur City Station would be able to meet its energy requirement while saving a good amount of electricity.

नगर निगम का ‘अतिक्रमण हटाओ’ अभियान फिर शुरू – इन जगहों पर होगी कार्यवाही

शहर की सड़कों को चौड़ा करने के लिए शुरू किया गया नगर निगम का ‘अतिक्रमण हटाओ’ अभियान 27 दिन बंद रहने के बाद बुधवार से फिर शुरू किया गया जो मार्च 5 तक चलेगा।

निगम की कार्यवाही के बाद, शहर की सड़कें खुली-खुली नज़र आ रही हैं।

अब तक कीमतराम पेसमूल तिराहे से मार्शल चाैराहे से धानमंडी से मुख्य मार्ग से हाेते हुए देहली गेट तक कार्रवाई हो चुकी है। निगम ने व्यापारियाें काे पाबंद करते हुए दुकानाें के बाहर सड़क के किनारे रखा सामान हटवाया गया। कई जगह अवैध रूप से पड़े 8 ठेले, 25 कैरेट, लाेहे की बेंच, काउंटर जब्त किये।

हालाँकि, धानमंडी क्षेत्र में व्यापारियाें के विराेध का सामना करना पड़ा।

गैरतलब है की निगम ने जब अभियान शुरू किया था तब बिना किसी सुचना के कार्यवाही करने का तय किया गया था। मगर वार्ड पार्षदों के विरोध के चलते निगम ने कार्रवाई राेक दी थी।

अब निगम राेड मैप तैयार कर कार्रवाई कर रहा है। यह रहेगा निगम का अतिक्रमण हटाने का प्लान:

  • 18 फरवरी : शास्त्री सर्किल चौराहे से अशाेक नगर हाेते हुए दुर्गानर्सरी तक
  • 20 फरवरी : सूरजपाेल चाैराहे से सेवाश्रम चाैराहे तक
  • 24 फरवरी : सेवाश्रम चाैराहे से प्रतापनगर चाैराहे तक
  • 25 फरवरी : सेवाश्रम चाैराहे से बीएसएनएल हाेते हुए सेक्टर 6 तक
  • 26 फरवरी : देहलीगेट चाैराहे से काेर्ट चाैराहा हाेते हुए चेतक चाैराहे तक
  • 28 फरवरी : चेतक चाैराहे से आयुर्वेद चाैराहे तक
  • 2 मार्च : आयुर्वेद चाैराहे से महाकाल मंदिर हाेते हुए मल्लातलाई चाैराहे तक
  • 3 मार्च : सुखाड़िया सर्किल से फतहपुरा हाेते हुए साईफन चाैराहे तक
  • 4 मार्च : दुर्गा नर्सरी राेड से यूनिवर्सिटी राेड हाेते हुए यूनिवर्सिटी तक

Polling for first phase of panchayat elections in Udaipur

Preparations have been done for the first phase of Panchayat Elections in Udaipur along with the entire state of Rajasthan. There are more than 93 lac voters voting for 2726 Gram Panchayats in 87 Panchayat Committees.

As per the State Election Commissioner, Mr P S Mehra, the counting of the vote will be done on the day of the election itself i.e. Friday, January 17 2020. There 17242 candidates competing for the post of Sarpanch and  42000 candidates for the post of Panch.

This is the first time that elections of Panchayat Samiti and District Councils are not been conducted with Panch-Sarpanch. Therefore the Panchayat Election process in Rajasthan is likely to be a prolonged one.

The counting of the votes will take place immediately after the voting process ends and the results will be declared the same day.

The election for the post of Up-sarpanch (Deputy Superintendent) will be held on 18th January 2020 who will be elected from the selected Panchs.

Udaipur petrol pumps to remain closed on 23rd October

Rajasthan Petroleum Dealers Association, Udaipur, said that all the petrol pumps in the city will remain closed on October 23. This is to protest against the Government’s refusal to cut VAT on petrol and diesel.

There are around 140 petrol pumps in Udaipur. All of them will remain closed from 6.00 am onwards on October 23 and remain closed till 5.00 am on October 24, 2019. The statewide strike has been called after the government hiked the VAT on petroleum products by 4%. This hike has increased the fuel prices by 5 to 9 rupees. This price is higher than that of the neighbouring states, which has resulted in fall of revenue.

According to the Association, the situation has been presented to the government a number of times earlier, but there has been no positive response, due to which the dealers are forced to go on strike.

The dealers also informed that the strike is indefinite and may continue in the absence of any favourable measure. The Association presented a memo on this matter to the District Collector and District Revenue Officer.

Lakecity ranks second in Rail Passenger Facility

Udaipur City Railway Station bagged second rank under Passenger Facilities category in the cleanliness survey of the railway stations of the country conducted by the Swachhta Survey Quality Control of India. According to the classification of the stations, the main city railway station has moved up two places to the second position in terms of passenger convenience.

The railway issued a list of 720 railway stations in which Jaipur topped the chart in railway cleanilness survey while Udaipur got eighth rank in the same category.

The report was released on Wednesday by Railway Minister Piyush Goyal.

Railway Department has been conducting this annual third-party audit and cleanliness ranking for 407 major stations of the country since 2016. This year 720 stations participated in the survey.
