Keeping in mind the safety of students, Union HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal announced the decision to postpone JEE Main, JEE Advanced and NEET Entrance exams 2020. Exams will now be held in September 2020.

As per the tweet by the minister, the JEE examination will now be held between September 1 to 6, JEE Advanced examination will be held on September 27 and NEET examination will be held on September 13.
Considering the prevailing situation of the COVID-19 pandemic, Union HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal announced that the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main and National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET 2020) will now be held in September. Â Consequently, JEE Advanced too stands postponed.
While the medical entrance exam NEET was scheduled on July 26, the JEE Mains for admission in engineering colleges was scheduled from July 18-23. JEE Advanced conducted for admission to Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) was scheduled for August 23.
Now, the JEE Main – Entrance Exam for admission to undergraduate level engineering courses will be held from September 1 to 6 and JEE Advanced will be held on September 27. NEET will now be held on September 13.
This is the second time this year that the exams have been postponed. These were to be held in April and May, respectively.
