Attention!! a very good news for MLSU students..!! 😀 😀 As decided in today’s meeting..
The theoretical exam pattern that included 10 marks objectives (10 questions of 1 mark each) and the rest lot of 90 marks for essay type long answer questions (multiple questions of 250 words and 500 words each); which had been the major reason for a lot of failures and the very common problem of not being able to complete the papers on time has been replaced by a “Totally New And Effective Pattern”
The NEW EXAM PATTERN for every subject will now consist of:-
- 45 marks objectives (short answer questions)
- 30 marks theory (essay type questions)
- The rest 25 marks for internals..

The new exam pattern is for all those students who freshly enrolled in the Undergraduate & Postgraduate courses (be it science, commerce or arts) “this year”..
that is the 1st year students of B.A. B.Com. B.Sc. B.C.A. etc. & 1st year students of M.A. M.Com. M.Sc. M.C.A. etc.
The old exam pattern will continue for the 2nd & 3rd year students; no changes for them!
for Private students, theoretical questions worth 25 marks will be added in their final exam papers.
Private students- “Internals ke marks aapke theory paper me jod diye jayenge.”

i understand the exam patteren of BA-Part I(private student).
that is exam contains 45 objective question and 5(3 needs to do) subjective question.
my question is here
I brought Mahesh series of all subjects(i have) for study….
in this series i found that…….
in General Hindi and Environmental studies only objective question is given…no single subjective question is there.
in other subjects(like political science,hindi literature,social science) mahesh series having both objective and subjective question.
so I want to know.. do this two subject(General Hindi and Environmental studies) having full objective question in exam ????
can you please kindly clear my doubt..

Priya: syllabus same hai, paper bhi same hoga.. bas number of questions may change.
Aditi: since its the 1st year, rarely you will find any good practice papers this time.
Manish: you will definitely have theory questions in both these compulsory papers.. if it is not in any publication series, it’s their individual fault. Prepare both.

in this a table is appear which shows complete mark distribution of BA 2012.
at end of this table two compulsory paper(environmental studies and general hindi) is given and it shows that only objective question are asked in exam.
Please go through it…make it clear to all students of BA-I and who follow this post
that compulsory paper only have objective question.

manish, thanks for this. the time we had posted this news, it was an exclusive one, newspapers me bhi hafte bhar baad aayi thi. since it’s the first year, there are some irregularities. Like assignment ke marks de rkhe hain is link me but in actual, these marks were included in tests, matlab no assignments were taken for granting marks except by a very few professors. introduce kar diya, exceptions to rhenge. practical subjects ka bhi scoring pattern alag hai. Teachers ko bhi clear nhi tha itne time.Now all information is available on the mlsu website. 🙂 all the best for your exams.
@Jitendra, Students Welfare Board bana hua hai mlsu mein. contact details aapko http://www.mlsu.ac.in par mil jayegi iski. aap unse baat karenge to jyada clearly jaan payenge. Baki Enrollment wahi rehta hai, bas exam form har baar bharna padta hai.

Paper wahi hoga, Bas aapke marks scaling paddhati ke madhyam se badha diye jange. Nischint rahiye sabhi.

@harsha, evs aur hindi pure objective type honge- all MCQs. baki papers me har unit se ek question aaye jaruri nahi hai. aapko objectives prepare karne ke liye to padhna padega saare units ko. N EVS ke marks judenge, hindi sirf pass karna hai.

Good Reference Books are available but not with this objective pattern. Consult your subject teacher for the authors.

2012 ka exam time table kaafi time se declare ho chuka hai. Aap MLSU ki website dekhiye.

Aur main aakhri baar keh raha hu, naya exam pattern sirf unhi students ke liye hai jinhone isi saal UG/PG courses mein admission liya hai. Back walo ka pattern purana hi rahega,
