Indian Railways on Wednesday released reservation rules for reservation of 200 trains which are scheduled to run from 1 June 2020. The bookings for the tickets has begun from 21 May.

According to the Tweet made by the Ministry of Railways, these will have both AC and non-AC classes and fully reserved coaches.
These trains also include the popular trains such as Duronto, Sampark Kranti, Jan Shatabdi and Poorva Express.
Only online E-Ticketing will be done through IRCTC website or through Mobile App. No tickets will be booked across the reservation counter on any Railway Station. The Advance Reservation Period will be of maximum 30 days.

The list of 200 trains also includes Mewar Express running between Udaipur City and Hazrat Nizamuddin.
Guidelines for travelling through train
- Only online E-Ticketing will be done through IRCTC website or through the mobile app. No tickets will be booked through the reservation counter on any railway station.
- RAC and Waitlist will be generated as per existing rules. However, waitlist ticket holders will not be permitted to board the train.
- No tickets will be issued onboard to any passenger during the journey.
- Tatkal and Premium Tatkal booking will not be permitted in these trains.
- All passengers will be compulsorily screened and only asymptomatic passengers are allowed to enter /board the train.
- Only passengers with confirmed tickets will be allowed to enter the railway station.
- All passengers must wear face covers/masks at the entry and during travel.
- The passengers will have to reach the station at least 90 minutes in advance to facilitate thermal screening at the station.
- Only passengers who are found asymptomatic will be permitted to travel.
- Passengers will have to observe social distancing both at the station and on trains.
- If during screening a passenger has a high temperature or other COVID-19 symptoms, he will not be allowed to travel despite having confirmed tickets. In such a case, a full refund will be provided to the passenger.
- Provision for pre-paid meal booking, e-catering will be disabled.
- IRCTC will make provision for limited eatables and packaged drinking water on payment basis only in limited trains which have a pantry car. Information regarding this will be made available to passengers during the time of booking ticket.
- Passengers are encouraged to carry their own food and drinking water.
- All static catering and vending units (multi-purpose stalls, bookstalls, chemist stalls etc) at railway stations will remain open.
- Cooked food items may be served as takeaway only at food plazas and refreshments rooms.
- Linens, blankets and curtains will not be provided inside the train. Passengers will be required to carry their own linen for the travel.
- All passengers must download and use the Aarogya Setu app.
- Passengers are advised to travel light.
As per MHA guidelines the movement of the passengers, as well as the driver of the vehicle transporting the passengers to and fro the railway station, will be allowed on the basis of the confirmed e-ticket.
