Rajasthan relaxes lockdown restrictions: Check details here

With a dip in the number of coronavirus cases, the Rajasthan government on Tuesday announced some more relaxations in ongoing lockdown. The Home Department released a revised set of guidelines providing further relaxation in the “Three-layer Public Discipline Lockdown 2.0“.

Here’s what is now allowed in Rajasthan in Unlock 2.0

  • The weekend curfew will now be observed only on Sunday. It will begin from Saturday 5 pm till Monday 5 am. However, the night curfew timings remain unchanged – 5 pm till 5 am every day.
  • All permitted markets and commercial establishments, which were allowed from Monday to Friday, will now be allowed to be open from Monday to Saturday.
  • Fully air-conditioned shopping complexes or malls can open from Monday to Saturday from 6 am to 4 pm.
  • Cinema halls, theatres and multiplexes will remain closed.
  • Tourist spots, museum, art and cultural places will open from 9 am to 4 pm. A separate guideline will be issued by the Department of Art and Culture for the same.
  • Restaurants and hotels are now allowed to provide in-house dining services from 9 am till 4 pm with a 50 per cent capacity.
  • Home delivery facility by restaurants will be allowed till 10 pm and take-away from 6 am to 4 pm from Monday to Saturday.
  • Stadiums, gyms and yoga centre & sports clubs will open from Monday to Saturday between 6 am and 4 pm.
  • In all such government and private offices with staff less than 10, the entire staff will be allowed to function from their workplace. In the case of more than 10 staff members, 50 per cent of them will be allowed.
  • City and minibuses will operate from 5 am till 5 pm. Metro rail will begin operating from Wednesday. Passengers will not be allowed to travel standing. Operation of roadways and private buses have been allowed from June 10.
  • Coaching institutions and libraries etc. will remain closed.
  • All places of worship will remain closed for the general public.
  • Wedding ceremonies will NOT be permitted. Marriages at home or in courts will be allowed with a maximum of 11 guests.

Besides, all other activities which were permitted in the guidelines issued earlier will remain as it is. Passengers coming from outside the state will have to submit a negative RT-PCR report not older than 72 hours.

The state government has earlier allowed work in all industries and units related to construction to prevent the migration of workers. It also permitted shops dealing in agricultural inputs and equipment, fruits, vegetables and flowers, and Mandis from 6 am to 4 pm.

Rajasthan Unlock New Guidelines: Check out the Relaxation List

The Rajasthan government, on Monday, issued new guidelines and announced certain relaxations to the COVID-19 lockdown imposed in the state. According to the official order issued by the state government, the new guidelines will come into effect from Tuesday, June 8.

Here’s a complete list of relaxations given by the Rajasthan government:

  • Shops and market will be allowed to open till 4 pm. Air-conditioned malls will remain closed.
  • Wedding ceremonies will NOT be permitted till June 30. Marriages at home or in courts have been allowed with a maximum of 11 guests.
  • Maximum 20 persons to be allowed at funerals.
  • Government and private offices in the state can stay open till 4 pm with 50 per cent occupancy of staff.
  • Public parks are allowed to open from 5 am to 8 am.
  • Roadways and private buses will be allowed to operate from June 10.
  • The movement of private vehicles will be allowed from 5 am to 5 pm from Monday to Friday.
  • Passengers travelling from outside the state will have to submit a negative RT-PCR report not older than 72 hours. People who have taken both doses of vaccination will be allowed without any test report.
  • Shops dealing in processed food, sweets, bakery etc., will be able to open from 6 am to 4 pm from Monday to Friday. However, only take-away will be allowed.
  • Industries and construction sites will be allowed to work to avoid the migration of workers.
  • Shops dealing in agricultural inputs and equipment, fruits, vegetables and flowers, and Mandis have been permitted daily from 6 am to 4 pm.
  • All medical and health-related activities and services will be permitted.
  • Dining in restaurants will NOT be allowed, takeaways will be available. Home delivery from these establishments will be allowed till 10 pm.
  • ATMs, banks, financial services will remain functional till 4 pm.
  • Petrol pumps will operate from 5 am till 5 pm.
  • Gatherings of all kinds, public, social, political, sports, entertainment, educational, cultural and religious, processions and fairs will continue to be banned.
  • Cinema halls, theatres, multiplexes, auditoriums, swimming pools, gyms, amusement parks, picnic spots, sports grounds and similar places will remain closed in the state.
  • Coaching institutions and libraries etc. will remain closed too.
  • All places of worship will remain closed for the general public.
  • Night curfew from 5 pm to 5 am every day will remain in place.
  • The ‘Public Discipline Weekend Curfew’ will continue from 5 pm on Fridays to 5 am on Mondays until further orders.
  • Rule of Five, where more than 5 people will not be allowed to assemble anywhere, will stay in effect.

The government had imposed a complete lockdown in the state from May 10 to May 24, which was later extended till June 8. Meanwhile, from June 2, relaxations were announced following a dip in the number of infections and the positivity rate.

All You Need to Know About Latest Guidelines of Rajasthan Government

Amid the rising cases of corona in the state, the Rajasthan government on Friday announced stricter guidelines for the lockdown period. The state’s home department issued these guidelines in addition to the restrictions already imposed since 19th April 2021 under “Jan Anushasan Pakhwada”.

Here is all you need to know about the latest guidelines issued by Rajasthan Government:
  • Retail and wholesale shops of grocery, food items, cattle feed and flour mills will be allowed to open from 6 am to 11 am from Monday to Friday.
  • Mandis, vegetable and fruit shops are allowed to open from 6 am to 5 pm. (this amendment has been made on 25th April 2021)
  • Vendors selling fruits and vegetables on hand carts, e-rickshaws, vans etc. will also be allowed from 6 am to 11 am daily.
  • Milk shops will be allowed to open in the morning from 6 am to 11 am and in the evening from 5 pm to 7 pm.
  • Shops selling processed food, restaurants and sweet shops will remain closed and only home delivery will be permitted.
  • Banks, insurance services will be allowed to operate from 10 am to 2 pm only.
  • Marriage ceremonies will be limited to a one-day event for 3 hours with not more than 50 persons in attendance. Government employees will monitor the wedding programmes to ensure that the guests don’t flout the norms.
  • Except for medical emergencies and essential services, the movement of private vehicles from one city to another has been restricted with effect from Monday, April 26.
  • Intra-state buses will operate with 50 per cent capacity.
  • Government offices will remain closed except for those directly engaged in COVID management.
  • Fuel stations will be open for private vehicles from 7 am to 12 noon.

Besides, the state government has also imposed a weekend curfew in the entire state which will be effective from Friday 6 PM to Monday 5 AM. During this period, only emergency and essential services will be allowed. This will include people going for vaccination, hospital or banking services and those travelling to and from bus stands, railway stations and airports.

The new guidelines will come into effect from Sunday, 25th April and will be effective till May 3rd 2021.
