The opening Cover to their Performance was a Traditional Rajasthani welcome song “Kesariya Balam” which was followed by Mira Bai Kirtan and then came the performance of night when one of the members of the troupe produced a Jugalbandi – a magical synchronization of various instruments. Later performances on songs of Amir Khusro and Nimbooda were Icing on cake. The evening ended on a “high note” with every one immersed in the Sufi chant of Dum-a-Dum Mast Kalandar.
The event was highly praised by Director stating – “May you guys organize a lot more events like this making IIM Udaipur a unique institution which believes in global growth and at the same time encourages local culture.” Then the evening came with speech of thanks proposed by our Arnab, Student.
